The more traditional way to learn skydiving (usually a 2 day course).

OBJECTIVE :

Perfect if you want to jump solo and take the first steps towards jumping regularly. You will be ready for your first free fall after a minimum of six static line jumps.

PROGRAMME :

6 to 8 hours of ground training during which you will be taught how to exit the aircraft, how to adopt a stable position, how to steer a parachute and how to land safely. The training continues with hands-on practical exercises on body positions for exits, emergency situations, and landing techniques.

Upon completion of your training you will be ready for your first jump. Assisted by an INSTRUCTOR you will put on your parachute harness container system and will be checked out on aircraft exit procedures.

Once at the designated jump altitude of a minimum of 3,200 ft, your jumpmaster will dispatch you from the aircraft. As you exit and fall away from the airplane, the static line automatically pulls the parachute from the container on your back and begins the opening process.

NOTE :

Instructors are all BPA qualified and hold the required certificates. - Parachutes are equipped with a safety trigger at in case of failure in manual opening at break off point. - Folding by qualified specialists who have extensive experience of parachute folding.

CONDITIONS :

Reasonable levels of fitness also apply. Also, please note that:

- The minimum age for parachuting in the UK is 16, and persons under the age of 18 must have written parental consent.

- Persons over the age of 40 will require a medical form that will need to be stamped and signed by their local GP.

- Maximum age may vary according to centres (usually 55). Please check at time of booking.
